So, what should you do? First, do not ignore the light. Here are our suggestions: If the light comes on and stays lit, contact your auto repair facility and arrange a convenient time to have your vehicle diagnosed. If the light comes on and is flashing, that indicates a more serious issue is occurring. If the vehicle is running normally and no other warning lights come on, carefully get the vehicle to your repair facility as soon as possible. If the light is flashing and the vehicle is running rough or other warning lights come on, stop and shut off the vehicle. Arrange a tow to your repair facility.
